Good News
Jesus speaks of the necessity of praying always. The gospel today is of a woman who wants her rights and a judge who opposes her. She eventually wins. The story is to pray always so that we may be heard by the Lord.

This Sun. Oct. 21st is World Mission Sunday. Your donation gives you a unique opportunity to become spiritual partners with the priests, sisters, brothers and lay catechists who are serving in missions throughout Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands and remote regions of Latin America. Please be generous.

Next Sunday, Oct. 28th is World Priest Day. Pray for your priests and for vocations. We are a special group to serve the people of God.

OUR 100TH ANNIVERSARY - beginning Nov. 3rd and 4th through Dec. 16th, a "Scratch Ticket" will be sold to 150 people only on a first come, first serve basis. There will be a variety of prizes to be awarded on Dec. 16th. Tickets are $20 each.

2008 Bulletin - we are compiling a list of sponsors/advertisers for next year's bulletin. For a modest price, you can either advertise your business/club or create a message that will be printed each week on the back side of the bulletin. The advertisers help to defray the printing cost of the bulletin for the year. If interested, please see Fr. Tom.
