Good News
The disciples asked Jesus to "increase their faith." The Lord replied, "say to something to be moved and it will move." We have our faith renewed everyday by the things we do and say. Let us reaffirm ourselves that by living faith, we are faith - to rely on the Lord to teach us.

CCD NEWS - classes to be held on Oct. 14th at Holy Spirit. Grades 1-6 will meet from 10:15 - 11:45 AM, Grades 7-8-9 meet from 6:00 - 7:30 PM, Confirmation Retreat students 1:00-7:00 PM, Parents and sponsors 4:00 PM.

The Feast of the Holy Rosary is this Sunday. We pay honor to the ladies of the Rosary Sodality with their annual Mass followed by installation of officers and members. May our Blessed Lady always watch over us in our parish and pray the rosary everyday.

A WHIST PARTY will be held this Sunday, Oct. 7th at 6 PM in the church hall.

On Mon., Oct. 8th a meeting of the Fall Fair and 100th Anniversary committees will be held at 6:30 PM in the church hall.

Next Saturday, Oct. 13th, we have our Founder's Day dinner in the church hall beginning at 5:30 PM. Even though Mass will be going on upstairs, the dinner will go on as scheduled at 5:30 PM. Please join us in honoring those people who began this parish back in 1908. Tickets are still available.

Next Mon. Oct. 15th, a meeting of the Parish Council will be held at 6:30 PM in the church hall.

Anyone wanting Masses for next year, please see Fr. Tom before or after Mass. If you have a special date, reserve it now.

Museum Exhibit - we are looking for pictures, sacramental certificates, programs from past parish events and anything else that we might use in our upcoming exhibit at the Gardner Museum. If anyone has an item of interest, please contact Ann at 978-632-7638. Deadline for submittal is Dec. 16th. The exhibit will be opening in the Spring 2008.

Holy Rosary Bazaar - the 53rd Annual Bazaar to benefit Holy Rosary School will be held on Oct. 12, 13 and 14. Meals will be served starting at 11:30 on Fri., Sat. and Sunday. Coffee and donuts will be available between 8 and 10:30 AM on Sunday. Other activities include a Chinese auction, fudge booth, craft booth, theme baskets and much more. The bazaar will end with a turkey raffle at 6:30 PM and the drawing of the All Money Raffle at 7 PM on Sunday eve.
The sale of Poutines, Rappee and Meat Pies will begin Tues. Oct. 9th at 12:30 PM and continue the whole week.
