Good News
Today's Gospel is about being enterprising in our everyday work and how we treat people. Are we honest or do we cheat others? To be fair and just is to give all we have and do it honestly.

2007 Annual Appeal for Catholic Schools - next weekend a second collection will be taken up for the Catholic schools. It is important that we support our Catholic Schools. St. Joseph Parish will support St. Joseph School in Webster and Holy Spirit Parish will support Holy Rosary School in Gardner. You may designate your gift to a variety of needs, including tuition assistance, technology and special projects. Please be generous in your donation.

CCD NEWS - classes begin on Sept. 30th at Holy Spirit. Grades 1-6 will meet from 10:15 - 11:45 AM, Grades 7-8-9 meet from 6:00 - 7:30 PM, Confirmation students & parents meet from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Founder's Day dinner to be held Sat. Oct. 13th at 5:30 PM in the church hall. Tickets available before and after all Masses. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 7. Anyone who would like to donate towards the cost of the dinner may do so by leaving a donation in a separate envelope in the collection bin. For more info., call Norrinne Sadowski at 632-9425.

PLEASE NOTE: On the weekend of Sept. 29-30, everyone registered as a parishioner of St. Joseph Parish will be given a new parish census form. Please fill it out honestly and return by mail or collection basket as soon as possible. If anyone new wants to join St. Joseph parish, this would be the time to also fill out a form.

October is devoted to Mary. Come and learn to say the rosary and prayers on Wed. Sept. 26th at 7:00 PM at Holy Spirit Church.

SECOND ANNUAL FR. GILBERT CHABOT PIPE ORGAN RECITAL - to be held at Holy Rosary Church on Sun., Sept. 30th at 3:00 PM. American organist Daniel Sullivan, 1st Prize winner in the 2002 Gruenstein Competition in Chicago and 2nd prize in the 2006 Miami International Organ Competition, will be giving the recital. The event is open to all, at no charge.
