St. Joseph - Holy Spirit BBQ - tickets for the Sun. Sept. 23rd barbecue are on sale before and after Masses. The cost is $8.00 for adults, $4.00 for children. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at the Otter River Sportsmen's Club that day. Buy your tickets and let's get together and have a good time!

Today we begin the year long celebration of our parish centennial. To all who began this parish, we thank God for their foresight, and through the years, all the way to our present parishioners, we thank God for the perseverance to keep going despite many hardships. May this year be a year of prayer, thanksgiving and events that we may be proud of St. Joseph Parish for years to come.

St. Joseph Picnic Report - net profit from the picnic was $3339.00. To all who worked setting up and cleaning up - thank you. Next year's picnic will be on Aug. 10th on the church grounds in honor of our 100th Anniversary.

CCD NEWS - there will be a teacher, helper and Confirmation team meeting on Wed., Sept. 12th at 6:30 PM in the Holy Spirit parish center. Schedules will be available, changes to the CCD program will be discussed and class assignments will be finalized. Please make every effort to attend this meeting. There will be a meeting on Sun. Sept. 16th at 1 PM for parents, students, CCD teachers, helpers & Confirmation team. CCD registration will take place, schedules will be available, expectations, questions and concerns for the CCD program will be discussed. Please make every effort to attend this meeting which will last about 1 ½ hours.

Parish Council Meeting on Mon., Sept. 10th at 6:30 PM in the church hall.

On Mon., Sept. 17th, a meeting of the 100th Anniversary Committee will take place at 6:30 PM in the church hall.

Founder's Day dinner to be held Sat. Oct. 13th at 5:30 PM in the church hall. Tickets available before and after all Masses. Cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children under 7. For more info., call Norrinne Sadowski at 632-9425.

St. Edward the Confessor Parish, 10 Church St. Westminster will hold its annual Fall Festival on Sat. Sept. 14 from 10 - 7 PM on the Church grounds. The Festival features good food, games for children and adults, a large "Attic Treasures" flea market, cash raffle, entertainment, etc. If you want a good time, please plan on attending.

St. Vincent de Paul Society - Members of the Holy Rosary St. Vincent de Paul Society and their Chaplain, Fr. Andre Dargis, invite everyone to share in a "Mass of Anointing" on Sunday, Sept. 9th at 2 PM.
