A mother's daughter was tormented by a demon. Jesus healed the girl because of the faith the mother had. There is much faith in all of us if we express it and show our love to those around us. Let us ask the Lord to help us.
During the past week, an anonymous donation of $10,000 was given to the fuel account of St. Joseph Church. On behalf of the parish, I want to say THANK YOU and BOG ZAPLAC. This means a lot to the parish in these economic days of inflation.
The Centennial Celebration last Sunday was a huge success. Thank you to the Co-chairs, people who cooked, cleaned, set-up, took down and anyone else who helped - THANK YOU and God bless. Without people like you, we would not have this event. To the parishioners and visitors who gave - THANK YOU. If anyone has Thank-you's that need to be written, please give names & addresses to either Fr. Tom or Barbara Yablonski.
Bus trip to Fr. Charlie - Two (2) small busses have been ordered to go to Fr. Charlie's Church next Sunday, Aug. 24th. We currently have 15 people signed up. The busses hold a total of 24, so if anyone else wishes to come, please call Dee Leblanc (978-632-7225) ASAP.
From the Gardner CAC - "A warm thank you for your generous donation of the many food items to the Gardner CAC. Many of our neighbors in need are served each day through your compassion. Please know your kindness is very much appreciated, not solely by the Gardner CAC, but by the many we serve."
