Good News
Today's gospel is the Samaritan woman at the well. Jesus asks for a drink from her but she refuses. Jesus in return tells her about her life and she becomes a believer. The town's people come to believe in Jesus also. Lent is a time to believe in Jesus and to be healed.

CCD NEWS - Classes are this Sun. Feb. 24th . Grades 1-6 will meet at Holy Spirit from 10:15-11:45 AM. Grades 7-8-9 will meet from 6:00 - 7:30 PM, and Confirmation Class students and sponsors meet 4:00 - 7:00 PM.

POLISH DAY at PACC today Sun., Feb. 24th beginning at 12 noon. Tickets are on sale at $8.00 from Phyllis.

RELAY FOR LIFE - St. Joseph's Trotters is now signing up walkers for Relay 2008. If interested, please call Ellie Fleurant (630-3079) or Mike Yablonski (632-8457). Our first meeting is Feb. 24th after the 10:30 Mass.

Holy Spirit Fish Fry's will be held every Friday during Lent. The cost is $9.00 per person. Meal time is 5:30 PM.

February is Catholic Press Month. If you plan on renewing or subscribing to the Catholic Free Press, please send in your envelop as soon as possible. The cost is only $23.00 per year.

RESERVE THE DATE: the Poor Man's Supper will be held on March 8th from 6-7 PM. Thickets at $4.00 each will go on sale Feb.16th at all Masses. Anyone wishing to bake finger foods, please contact either Barbara Yablonski (978-632-0495) or Fr. Tom. Thank you.

We continue our annual Partners in Charity Appeal with the In-Pew envelope. If you wish to leave your donation you may, if not, bring it back next week. St. Joseph's goal is $7,000. Please help us to achieve this goal.

Parish Mission - Father Joseph of the Franciscans will preach at all Masses on the weekend of March 8 & 9. On Sunday, March 9th, a talk on Divine Mercy will be held at 2 PM at St. Joseph followed by a chaplet of the Divine Mercy. Weekday Masses will be at 7:30 AM on Mon, Tues. & Wed. at St. Joseph. On Mon. & Tues. evening at 7 PM at Holy Spirit there will be a communion service with a talk. On Wed. evening, Mass at 7 PM at Holy Spirit followed by consecration of the Parish to Our Lady. On Mon. Tues. & Wed., confessions will he heard all day at St. Joseph & in the evening at Holy Spirit.

CHOIR REHEARSAL - we will have a combined choir for our Holy Week Services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil. We would love to include many singers from both churches! Rehearsals will be held on Wed. nights from 7 - 8:30 PM at St. Joseph Church. First rehearsal will be on Wed., Feb. 27th. If you plan on joining, please let Sharon Sawtell (978-632-7216) know so she can plan adequate music copies. Hope to see you there! Thank you.
