Good News
Today is the second Sunday in Ordinary Time. John testifies he saw the spirit descend upon Jesus at His baptism. John calls Jesus "the Lamb of God." As Jesus begins his public ministry, let us recall the wonders and signs He accomplished.

CCD NEWS - Regular CCD classes will be held this Sun. Jan. 20th - Grades 1-6 from 10:15 to 11:45, Grades 7-8-9 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM and Confirmation Students & Sponsors from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.

Your pastor will be away on vacation from Mon. Jan. 21st to Tues. Jan. 29th. Please check the bulletin for the Mass schedule. Weekday morning Masses at other churches - Holy Rosary 8 AM and Sacred Heart 9 AM.

MASS TIMES - Please note the time changes for the weekend of Jan. 26 & 27. Saturday, Mass will be at 4 PM at St. Joseph (NO 5:30 PM Mass on that Sat.) and 8 AM (NO 7 AM Mass on that Sun) and 10:30 AM. The only changes are at St. Joseph - Holy Spirit Masses remain the same.

The annual Oplatek Dinner will be held today, Sunday, at 1 PM. Help is always needed, especially after the meal. Please give a helping hand.

This weekend, we will begin our 120 CLUB tickets. Phyllis Asselin will sell tickets before and after Masses.

Catholic Home Missions Appeal - this appeal helps dioceses that cannot provide basic pastoral services to their people without outside help. Your donation helps with pastoral activities including religious education, training for priests, deacons, lay people and the support of poor parishes. Please be generous.

LIFE LINE SCREENING - will be held at Sacred Heart Parish Hall on Mon., Feb. 4. Testing for Stroke Screening/Carotid Artery, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm and Peripheral Arterial Disease is available for a reasonable fee. Pre-registration is required. Please call 1-800-697-9693.
