Good News
The kingdom of God is for us, if we follow the rules the Lord has given us. Today's gospel tells us to use wisely the gifts and talents. In this month of October, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, let us pray to Mary that she continue to guide us.

This weekend, Mr. Michael Gillespie from the diocese will speak at all Masses here at St. Joseph and Holy Spirit on Stewardship in the parish.

Today, the Rosary Sodality will meet at 10:15 on Oct. 5th for our installation. A catered dinner will follow at no cost to members. Sodality members are asked to pay their dues for 2008 by December.

CCD REGISTRATION - for all who will be attending this year (all grades). This weekend, Oct. 4th & 5th at Holy Spirit parish after Masses. On Sun. Oct. 5th, a breakfast meeting with parents and students will take place after the 9 AM Mass. Everyone is invited to attend.

To all who came to the Mass of Thanksgiving last Sunday for our centennial, may the Lord and St. Joseph watch and bless us abundantly with his graces. Thank you to all who made this wonderful event.

This Tues., Oct. 7th is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Please pray the rosary daily.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Bazaar will be held on Oct. 17, 18 & 19th. There will be a Chinese auction, craft booth, theme baskets, toy booth, candy, pastries and much more. Ethnic French food is available starting on Tues. Oct. 14th. Come and join the fun!

The Knights of Columbus, Bishop Beaven Assembly will celebrate a Mass for the Unborn on Oct. 19th at 9:45 AM at St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster. Bishop Daniel Reilly will officiate. All are invited. Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass - will be celebrated by Bishop McManus on Sun., Oct. 26th at 3 PM at St. Paul's Cathedral. Couples celebrating significant anniversaries who plan on attending should give their names and wedding date to Fr. Tom before Oct. 10th.

St. Joseph Parish sympathies go out to the Skamarycz and Plona families at the death of Sister Mary Laetitia who died at the age of 101 last weekend. Her funeral was Tues., Sept. 30th. Please remember her and her families in your prayers.
