Good News

Jesus cures all who are sick and drives out demons from those who know Him. It is the mission of the Lord to visit those people and places that are in need of being healed. In our everyday struggles of life, let us ask the Lord to heal us.

CCD NEWS Regular classes will also be held today Feb. 8th. Attendance at the 9:00 AM Mass is mandatory. CCD classes will follow from 10-11 AM for grades 1-10. Because of the CCD cancellations that we have had, we have added two make-up dates to the schedule, Feb. 15th and Feb. 22nd.

There will be a whist party today Feb. 8th at 1 PM in the church hall.

Parish Council meeting scheduled for Monday, February 9th at 6:30 PM in the church hall.

A donation of $1000 was given to St. Joseph Church this past week. The money was put in the fuel account. The person wishes to remain anonymous. Thank you and God bless you.

Mardi Gras Hot Dog & Bean Supper - Sat. Feb. 21st from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the church hall. Sponsored by St. Joseph Trotters, all proceeds will go to the Greater Gardner Relay for Life. Raffles, prizes, fun!! Donation is $5.00. Tickets available before and after Masses or call Ellie (630-3079) or Mike (632-8457).

We will soon be drawing on the 120 club. There are still numbers available. If anyone wants to join, please see Phyllis.

During the season of Lent, we will be participating in the annual Partners in Charity Appeal in the diocese. Lent begins Feb. 25th. More details later.

February is Catholic Press month. For those who subscribe to the Catholic Free Press, your subscription is due this month at $23.00 a year. If anyone wants to become a new subscriber, please submit your envelope.

The Gardner CAC is looking for donations for their pantries to help the needy. If you have any canned goods, leave them off in church.
