Good News

Jesus speaks of a grain of wheat that must die in order to live. The grain of wheat is how we live. Jesus died for our sins and was raised to glory by the Father. Let us ask the Lord to help us in this Lenten season that we may die in our sins and be raised up in glory.

CCD NEWS Today, Sun. March 29th, we will have a Penance Service at 2 PM at Holy Spirit Church. This is for all parishioners and students. Regular CCD classes will resume on April 5th.

Partner in Charity Appeal - as of today, we have collected $3365.00 towards our goal of $7,000.00. Please continue to turn in your envelopes so we may reach our goal. Thank you.

First Friday of the month is this week. Mass will be at 7:30 AM at St. Josephs.

Easter Flowers - all donations for flowers must be received by the weekend of April 4/5, if you want the name of your loved one(s) on our Easter flower bulletin.

Palm Sunday bake sale sponsored by the Holy Rosary Sodality before and after Mass on Sat. April 4th and Sun. April 5th. Bakers and helpers needed. Please call Dee LeBlanc at 632-7225.

"Requiem" Concert - there will be a Palm Sunday Concert at Holy Rosary Church, April 5th at 4 PM. The Greater Gardner Community Choir will present "Requiem," directed by Diane Cushing, accompanied by Ted Cushing.

Parish Council Meeting - to be held April 6th at 6:30 PM in the church hall.

Swienconka (Easter Dinner) will be held April 26th at 1 PM. Tickets are $8 for adults and will start selling on March 28th. Donations are needed. Please see the list posted at the back of the church.

ATTENTION ALL SINGERS - we will have a joint Easter choir for all Holy Week services. All rehearsals will be held at Holy Spirit, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome!!!
