Jesus tells us about being invited to special occasions. He tells us to be aware as to where we are to be seated. The "host" might come and tell us to sit in a special place. Today's "host" is Jesus and He invites us to sit at the Eucharistic Table with Him.
Today, a special collection for the Catholic League for Religious Assistance to Poland for priests and seminarians to study abroad will be taken up at all Masses. This is an annual collection. Please be generous in your second collection.

During the past two years, we have been having problems with the church ceiling on the rectory side. I submitted a claim to the diocese this past summer and the insurance company has paid a total of $4967.46. Since then, the roof has been fixed for a total of $9543.43. The company, recommended by the diocese, was Applied Roofing Systems. The difference was paid from the monthly blue renovations envelope donations. In the Fall, the interior ceiling will be fixed.
Sharing the Blessings: This Fall you will hear and read more about a new program taking place in parishes throughout the diocese. This program, Sharing the Blessings, is an opportunity for all of us to work together to address the most pressing needs in our parish through an increased giving campaign. Our hope is to increase our weekly offertory collections by at least 25%. Sharing our blessings is a program about sacrifice, about giving back to God and about strengthening the future of our faith community. More information will follow in the coming weeks.
Fall Fair Arts and Crafts - thanks to some very talented people, our table has always had beautiful knitted and crocheted items. We would like to add to our selection. I know that we must have talented wood workers, painters, seamstresses and maybe even potters or doll makers and other crafters among our parishioners. I am hoping that you can make one item for our table for the Church Fair in November. Thank you. Tory Kazinskas (978-632-1984).
