Jesus tells us to be prepared. Where our treasure is, will our heart also be. Our treasure is what we have in life and how we treat those around us. We must be prepared for the coming of the Son of Man.

Your pastor will be away on vacation from Tues. Aug. 3 to Thurs. Aug. 12. Weekend Masses will be on Sat., Aug. 7 at 5:30 PM, Aug. 8 at 8:00 AM (please note change from 7:00 AM) and 10:30 AM. Weekday Masses will resume on Friday, Aug. 13 at 7:30 AM at St. Joseph.
Next Sunday, Aug. 15 St. Joseph Parish will have their annual Polish Picnic at PACC. Many tables with raffles will be available. Polish and American food with music will begin at 12 noon. Everyone is invited to attend.
The feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is Sun., Aug. 15. Blessing of flowers and herbs will take place at all Masses at St. Joseph.
2010 Collection to Aid the Church in Central and Eastern Europe - weekend collection Aug. 7 & 8. In the past, this collection has helped to re-established seminaries and religious education programs, social ministry programs have begun and Catholic media organizations have been created. Please continue to be generous in giving.
