Today is World Marriage Day and Valentine's Day. To all who are married, may the Lord continue to bless your marriage that you remain faithful to each other. May the love we celebrate on Valentine's Day reach out to all around us.
This coming Wednesday is Ash Wednesday - the beginning of Lent. It is a day of FAST and ABSTINENCE from eating meat. Let us sacrifice to the Lord in this time of prayer and ask the Lord to help us in all Lenten Resolutions to be faithful in all we do and say. Ashes will be distributed after the 7:30 AM Mass at St. Joseph and also at 3 PM at St. Joseph. Mass will be celebrated at 7 PM at Holy Spirit followed by ashes. Please read the bulletin so that you will know what's going on. All Fridays during Lent are days of ABSTINENCE.
