Good News

After Jesus teaches the people by the shore of the lake, He tells Peter to lower his nets. He and his companions catch a number of fish. Peter tells Jesus, "leave me for I am a sinful man." Jesus calls His disciples to follow Him. Let us leave our sinful way and follow the Lord.

CCD NEWS - Today, Sun Feb. 7, all students will attend 9:00 AM Mass. Grades 1-8 will meet from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. The Confirmation Class, Grades 9 & 10 will meet from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Sun. Feb. 14, no CCD - Winter Vacation.

Perpetual Adoration - The Adoration Chapel is in need of more Adorers. Many elderly can no longer commit. If you can do one hour per week, please call Rich Chanley at 632-4733.

St. Joseph's Trotters -the Ham & Bean supper will be held today, Feb. 6 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. Tickets will be sold before and after Mass. Donation for the supper is $5.00. Proceeds will benefit the Greater Gardner Relay for Life.

Rosary Sodality meeting today at 1:30 PM, Sun. Feb. 7. Refreshments will be served.

Parish Council meeting this Monday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 PM in the church hall.

This coming Thurs., Feb. 11 is the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick. After morning Mass at St. Joseph, anyone who is ill may be anointed. This is a special grace that the Lord may heal all who are sick. Everyone is invited.

For all interested singers, we will meet on Saturdays at the organ from 4:30 - 5:00 for the purpose of learning new songs for Masses.

P.A.C.C. Polish Day - Sun., Feb. 21 at the PACC Banquet Hall. Serving 12-4, eat-in or take-out. Dinner Plate $8.00 - Side dishes extra. Tickets on sale before and after Masses.

10th Anniversary Diocesan Catholic Men's Conference is scheduled for Sat. March 20 at the DCU Center. All parish men, as well as their sons, brothers, fathers and friends are invited.
