Good News

Jesus asks His disciples, "Who am I?" They reply "one of the prophets." Peter tells Him, "You are the Christ, Son of the Living God." Jesus tells them to say nothing, but to have faith in Him. We too must have faith in Jesus.

Today is Father's Day and we honor all fathers. As the head of the family, we hope that all fathers make right decisions for those in their care. May the Lord bless you in a special way on this Father's Day.

As we begin summer, we are reminded of the many outdoor activities it brings - summer picnics, vacations, etc. Please be careful in what you do - we need you safe and sound!

From Sr. Margaret - "On behalf of the Columban Sisters throughout the world, my sincere thanks to you all for your gracious welcome and your most generous response to my appeal. It was a privilege to be able to share our mission efforts and some of our experiences with you."

With summer approaching and vacation, let us not forget our Sunday obligation to attend Mass. Find a church nearby where you can attend. God does not take a vacation, we should not forget Him.

Peter's Pence Collection - will be taken up next weekend, June 26 & 27. This collection enables the Holy Father to support victims of disaster, war and oppression and others most in need of emergency assistance. Please be generous

Polish Picnic - Children's Table: I'm looking for help! Donations of cash, toys or yourself needed. I would like to have games for children, along with a Chinese auction and a few surprises, but "I really need your help." Please call me: Sheila Mailloux 978-939-8920.

Interfaith Effort - the churches in Gardner are being invited to participate in an interfaith effort during the Gardner Festival/Sidewalk Days on Aug. 6 & 7. Those running this effort would like representation at the Gardner congregations tent during any time periods on the two days. If you are interested, please let Father Tom know before July 15th.

BASKET RAFFLE: If you would like to donate items or a complete medium-sized basket for our annual picnic on Aug. 15, please sign the paper in the vestibule. Any questions please call Mary Ann (632-8896) or Carolyn (632-1420). Thank you.
