A woman is caught in adultery and should be stoned to death. Jesus sees the whole event and forgives her. He asks the elders to cast the first stone if they have no sin of their own. In the end, everyone walks away. The woman is forgiven. Let us ask for forgiveness from those around us. CCD NEWS - Today, Sun. March 21, all students will attend the 9:00 AM Mass. Grades 1-8 will meet from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. Sun. March 28 , Grades 1-8 will meet from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. Confirmation Class, Grades 9 & 10 & Sponsors, will meet from 10:00 - 1:00 PM. There will be a Penance Service at 12:15 PM, so class time will be extended.
This coming Thursday is the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord. The angel tells Mary she is to bear a son and name him Jesus. Mass will be at 7:30 AM.
Confessions are heard every Saturday afternoon at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph Church.
During Lent:
On the weekend of March 27-28, the Rosary Sodality will have a bake sale before and after Masses in the church hall. If anyone would like to bake, please bring your baked goods before Mass.
On Sunday, March 28th, a Penance Service will be held at Holy Spirit Church at 12:15 PM. Everyone is invited to attend. We, as Catholics, have an "obligation" to confess our sins at least once a year during the Easter season. Take advantage of this wonderful sacrament.

Partners in Charity - we began our annual Partner's in Charity Appeal three weekends ago. Lent is a time of giving to those who are in need. Partner's helps the diocese with so many agencies and organizations. Please help us make our goal. St. Joseph - $7000.00.
33rd Annual Spaghetti & Meatball Supper - to benefit Holy Rosary School. Wed., March 31st from 5-7PM in the lower church hall of Holy Rosary Church. Adults - $6.00, children - $3.00.
