Good News

Jesus cures a man with an unclean spirit. The spirit comes out of him and people begin to believe in the authority He has. Jesus teaches with the spirit of God. Let us open our hearts to hear the word of God.

CCD – This Sun., Jan. 29 , after attendance at the 9:00 AM Mass, Grades 1-8 will meet from 10:00 – 11:30 AM and the Confirmation Class will meet from 10:00 – 1:30 PM. Next Sun., Feb. 5th, after the 9:00 AM Mass, there will be class for Grades 1-8 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM.

First Friday of the month is this week. Mass will be at 7:30 AM at St. Joseph.

Your pastor will be leaving on vacation from Feb. 6th through Feb. 16th. Mass on Sunday Feb. 12th will be at 8:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM. If necessary, funerals will be covered by Fr. Gariepy.

120 CLUB – Phyllis will be selling tickets before and after Mass.

Sodality Meeting – the Rosary Sodality will meet on Sun., Feb. 5th at 11:30 AM in the church hall.

Catholic Home Missions Appeal – weekend of Feb. 4th & 5th . This appeal helps dioceses that cannot provide basic pastoral services to their people without outside help. Your support will truly make a difference.

February Bake Sale – the Rosary Sodality will be holding a Valentine’s Day bake sale on the weekend of Feb. 11 & 12. Anyone wishing to bake for this event is asked to drop off their baked goods by Sat. afternoon. Thank you very much in advance for helping with this event.

OUR LADY OF THE WAY – A Lenten Pilgrimage of Prayer and Devotion. Beginning on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22, a pilgrimage will begin within the North Worcester County parishes (6 parishes are involved) for Lenten services. More information as Lent approaches.

12th Annual Diocesan Catholic Men’s Conference – all parish men, as well as their sons, brothers, fathers and friends are invited to this important annual Conference, scheduled for Worcester’s DCU Center, on Sat., March 24. Hear dynamic talks from outstanding Catholic leaders: author George Weigel, Fr. Larry Richards, convert Fr. Dwight Longenecker, New Orleans Saints QB Coach Joe Lombardi (Vince Lombardi’s grandson) and lay evangelist Mark Nehrbas. Bishop McManus will offer the conference Mass.
