Good News

Jesus sends His disciples to preach the kingdom of God to the people. They go out to heal and cast out demons. Jesus gives them authority to preach and heal. Let us open our hearts to receive the blessings of the Lord.

120 CLUB Drawing – Today, Sunday, July 15 after the 10:30 AM Mass, we will have the drawing of the money prizes in the church hall.

If any parishioner has any Mass intention and would like the Mass to be said, please see Fr. Tom. I am running out of intentions. It is always good to pray for the deceased.

The CAC thanks St. Joseph for our continuous donation of food for their pantry.

St. Anne Novena – July 18-26, 2012 – nine days of reflections and prayer celebrating the 125th Novena to St. Anne in Sturbridge, MA. This year’s theme is : From Generation to Generation. During these nine days, a diverse group of speakers will reflect on our theme. Everyone is invited to attend and pray at the Shrine of Peace, Tranquility and Beauty. Our annual Polish Picnic will be held on Sun., Aug. 19 at the PACC grounds in Gardner. We are looking for people to work at various tables. If interested, please sign up and help us. Tickets are available on the back table or see Barbara or Fr. Tom.

The liquor table for the Polish Picnic is looking for donations. Anyone wishing to donate, please drop off your donation at the rectory.

On Sat., July 21, a Recycle Day will be held in the parking lot on the side of the church. This recycle day is for all Electronics & Appliances. For monitors, computers, scanners, etc…$5 ea., appliances such as dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, etc. …$10 ea., lawn mowers…$10 ea., TV less than 19”…$10 ea., TV greater than 19” ..$15 ea. Console/wood TV…$20 ea. Car, boat and lawn mower batteries .. no fee, cell phones.. no fee. Bicycle Recycle Free. Any questions, please contact Dennis Wood 508-277-7513. The larger the number of recyclables, the larger the percentage given to the parish. It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
